Hi there,
3Q22 was big for us. In case you missed the messaging about that, here it is again: We raised our 4th fund! Same focus as before: early-stage B2B SaaS companies with their HQ in BeNeLux, Nordics, or Germany. The only difference: it is almost double the size (EUR 130M). This will allow us to support more companies and have better coverage over our focus geographies.
In September we announced already our first investment out of N4: Legionella Dossier. The Utrecht-based company facilitates optimal water management in commercial real estate. In the newsletter, associate Jingyi Wang explains our investment thesis around Legionella Dossier.
We can also already announce that in October, we invested in Yourcampus! The Yourcampus team is on its way to disrupt your payslip, watch out ๐ More on that in our Q4 newsletter.
Tea Elezi interviewed Tom, CEO at Salonkee, and Armand Naessens shares in the newsletter his findings after his visit to SaaStock.

Jingyi explains our investment thesis for Legionella Dossier
These are the pain points that Legionella Dossier solves. We believe Legionella Dossier has great potential in this undigitized market.
From a product perspective, Legionella Dossier smartly ties two propositions together for both water consultants and property/facility managers and supports the entire value chain. It creates a strong lock-in effect but also high compliance certainty. As a young startup, the platform already processes tens of thousands of tasks per day on tens of thousands of buildings. The new water compliance rules in the EU and the US in 2022 will serve as a catalyst that enforces the compelling needs of property managers to have compliance certainty instead of simply increasing work efficiency. On a high-level estimate, there are 3 million buildings in the Service Addressable Market implying an 800 million euro market size in Europe, just in water compliance. Read more

๐ค Compute Cost Allocation is key, and finally attainable
Insights from the team
In early October, Dorus Olgers and Armand Naessens visited SaaStock in Dublin. In the newsletter, Armand shares some insights on market trends he spotted at the event. One proposition that was very present according to him was companies offering solutions to allocate cloud-compute-cost to the exact product feature and the user executing that feature. This allows for more precise billing and pricing opportunities, lowering the risk of a cash squeeze due to exponential growth in computing costs.
